Work~

YOz this gonna be a short one.

i am now posting from within the depths of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. My job is simple.. sittin and waiting to be instructed to do a few humble tasks. Pay is 7 per hr. good if u did ask me.. bt until the lady called Angel comes, i will not have the pass to wonder abt on my own. Currently i have to tag along with 2 other guyz with Mark (our i/c).

Hate to say it but it is indeed actually quite taxing- the slacking part.. sch suddenly doesn't seem too bad. and i will have to wear formal frm tmr onwards.. now i am juz in polo and jeans.. and ya.. air con here is pretty cold.. so i have a sweater on..

Later on.. there will be a function.. and tmr.. another function.. and 31st would be a half day.. so yea.. and the facilities here are awesome.. got a library , gym, function rooms and not forgeting the Talking Point.. there are coms there and table soccer alligned with a bar. damn cool..

mmmkkk.. seems like it time to sign out..

Lol.. having quite a laugh here.. no one has gotten past the 1/4 page =).. lol.. added a few more Helpers to make things easier.

Juz came back from town. Lol that salesgirl had such patience with me and laughed at jem when he said:" tat thing looks like a corkscrew".. Was on auto-pilot throughout.. where ever jon and jem brought me i juz "/f" them.. (jon say it's a WOW command for following another character in the game)..

i was totally shack.. had overnighted at Kang Sheng's place after being at Dan's place to teach WZ guitar.. and the moment i got home.. i went out like 2 hrs later w/o sleep.. Went over to Jon's condo to swim..

LOL the reason why i didn't bear to sleep was that the weather was too good to pass on.. It has been like raining the whole of DEC and today's Sunny Afternoon was such a blue moon..

Went to town later. OH ya.. we had Killiney at the one next to the singtel building.. ate the kaya toast and curry chicken with bread. the Curry.. it was excellent..

haha and ya, we saw a neat OOOO sports car with a twin engine.. looked great and got jon abit high..


oh.. was at HMV with jon and jem and saw a couple of neat stuffs..









$85 - i will buy that.









$69 - it's a clock that appears to be whole-ly wood









$149 - a clock that looks LED with LED display (jem's choice)


I personally feel the $69 one is better.. it's like way too cool lah.. it's a clock that display through a wood interface.. wads so unique abt a LED clock that Looks LED??.. bt they both look good though..

Had some down time.. well my internet is going for an upgrade -> saddly no nintendo Wii
its a Singtel plan though. seems tat singtel is better than starhub despite the higher cost.
Goin for the 6mbps plan i think.. using the 512 one now.

Lol. if mum sees this she won't be too please. well there was a little confusion.. and is still on going. We had intentions of overwriting the 512 with the 6mb plan on the 17th of dec, which is today lah, bt a call to pacnet (512 service provider) informed us that such an overwrite was not possible unless there is a termination.. which is impossible to be done unless it is the end of the payment date (which is the last day of every month for me). my mum then did a call to singnet to change the start date of the 6mb plan to the 31st of dec, so that we wouldn't loo gee too much.. However, pacnet had sent a (unchecked) email on friday stating tat internet connection will be terminated today... which i have come to a conclusion tat.. all these is bullshit.. cuz ... For one, i am posting this Today. Secondly, my darn internet connection is still a damn 512. well well well .. if u are confused reading this.. u aint alone.. cuz i am confused by myself too.. only could get wad i was writing from the "bullshit" part. lol.

A back track to the past (Saturday)

The dinner. Hmph. should have a renamed it to frens gathering. well. ever since sec 2-3/4/j1/j2, all the sec 2 outings.. only the same hand full would go.. so.. didnt really came as a suprise that the dinner had the usual gang (My Roots) : Jon, Stan, Dy, Ivan, RK, Jem, Me.. kinda think of it.. it could have almost been called a 3/6 outing if not for stan the smarty. bt then again, nice time out. HaHa. we went eating at Bt Timah' s Beautyworld without stan at first, didn't realised he alr landed in Singapore liao. so when we found out, Dy told stan we were at Bt Timah plaza.

lol, he muz have like swept the top floor of plaza and saw only maid agencies lah. lol..

we then went on to play LAN over at another shopping centre (nearest one to NP; the one with the NTUC Fine or sth liddat). and did Pool.

Fast Foward ( Sunday Work)

Woke up really sick that morning.. had flu and alittle feverish.. but.. damn.. i slogged my way to serangoon plaza (mustafa). The 8 per hour pay was juz unpassable.. besides the job was slackish.
i was assigned to work at some place in the middle of Lavender, Farrer Park, Racecourse Rd and Bugis, the place was Kampong Kapor if u noe where tat is. Wa lao lor.. where i was assigned to had totally no proper girls.. only knew daniel there and i tot i knew some gold hair beng (wondered if he was my nursery mate that i stapled his thumb).. well abt 90% of them smoked.

And when i tot that our job was good.. this 2 non-dunked-worthy lian girls came late and their pay : $100 per day. ard 4/5 ish pm they came. and left at 10.30pm. tats like $15 an hour lah.. and all they do was sit on the seat of the dunking machine and wait to be dunk by Indian Foreign Labourers... haha for ppl at the construction sites, i would have expected their aim to be a little better.. the 2 girls were dunked only 5 times.. tats way too easy a job..

Don't wanna sound racist so they are now known as Customers. Customer base were mainly indian and china chinese. didn't see any other.

Those Bengs there were actually kind. They tot u lots of stuffs.. like.. u dun need to have any service in such areas.. u scold the customers.. lie to them.. and scam them.. they also did teach me how to do the registration of those sim cards that those customers bought. and in my opinion, it was not a kind act of the bengs. it was so that i could cover them while they slacked else where.

What Dan and i did was the 2nd stage of the whole thing. ( i learnt all the stages tat day)

1st stage:
Customer comes into the queue and asks the 2 girl for the card they want.
promotion was:
$8/28 sim gets u a shirt/bag/banana leaf coupon + Photo Shoot + film ticket + lucky draw
$8 sim + $20 top up card / $28 sim gets u a bread toaster + Photo Shoot + film ticket

2nd stage:
We give the freebies to them

3rd stage (most tedious ):
Registration of sim Cards

what happened was tat there was a confusion in the "$8 sim + $20 top up card / $28 sim"
dan and i took it as either u buy the $8 sim together with the $20 top up card to make up $28 or u can also buy the $28 sim.. both will get u a toaster.. so we gave every customer that bought a $28 sim a toaster.. when we were like 3/4 thru the day, 1 of the 2 girls told us, it was
$8 sim + ($20 top up card / $28 sim)... so here comes the lieing part : we told subsequent $28 sim card customers that we ran out of toasters..

Well then while i was at the 3rd stage counter, this customer came and had to help him activate the sim card.. i couldn't do it anyhow.. so i told him saying that network busy.. so u muz go to the boon lay branch .. they will help u.. my gawd.. i scammed.. i am sorry if that guy went to boon lay.. the other beng told me.. either u say.. "okok.. can can.. next customer" or u say "go boon lay.. there got ppl can help" reason being tat there was a boon lay branch tat was far away and when u say okok.. can can... the customer would 90% go away and solve it himself.

well $80 in my pocket now.


later i am gonna go urban with wilson and NP rollerbladders. i think location is in town.. and they should already be there now.. bt wilson and i are goin down at 5 ish pm.. not goin to stay overnight with them though.
